Blub Privacy Policy

Blub is an audio learning app for families. It helps parents choose child-friendly educational podcast stories and lets children listen to curated audio content. This Privacy Policy explains how BAMU Teknoloji A.S. ("Blub", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Blub mobile application.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use Blub.

Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to operate Blub, provide audio content, manage purchases, improve reliability, and support families.

Information you provide in the app

• Child profile details entered by a parent or guardian, such as the child's first name or nickname, age range, and interests.
• Parent support messages or requests submitted through support features.
• Favorites, listening preferences, and onboarding choices.

Blub does not require a child to provide an email address, phone number, precise location, photo, address, or social profile.

Information collected automatically

• An anonymous app user identifier created through Firebase Authentication so the app can save settings, favorites, access status, and listening-related app data.
• App functionality data, such as selected stories, favorite stories, playback progress, and app settings.
• Device and technical information needed for app functionality, security, diagnostics, and reliability, such as device type, operating system version, app version, crash logs, performance information, and server request metadata.

Purchase information

If you purchase premium access, purchases are processed by Apple through App Store In-App Purchase. Blub uses RevenueCat to validate purchase status and manage premium entitlement. We may receive purchase status information, product identifiers, transaction-related identifiers, subscription status, and entitlement state. We do not receive your full payment card details from Apple.

Content and media

Podcast metadata, summaries, artwork, and audio files are loaded from Firebase services. Blub may store app content identifiers and playback-related state so the app can recommend and resume content.

Information We Do Not Collect

Blub does not collect precise location, contacts, health data, photos, videos, advertising identifiers for tracking, or data used for third-party advertising.

Blub does not use third-party advertising SDKs and does not sell personal information.

How We Use Information

• Provide and operate the Blub app.
• Create and save a child profile selected by a parent or guardian.
• Recommend suitable podcast stories based on age range and interests.
• Save favorites, playback progress, app settings, and onboarding state.
• Provide free and premium access according to purchase status.
• Load podcast audio, artwork, summaries, and related educational content.
• Restore purchases and verify active premium entitlement.
• Diagnose crashes, fix bugs, secure the app, and improve reliability.
• Respond to support and privacy requests.
• Comply with legal obligations and App Store requirements.

We do not use collected information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

Sharing of Information

We share information only with service providers that help us operate Blub:

• Firebase, used for anonymous authentication, cloud data storage, file storage, and crash diagnostics.
• RevenueCat, used for purchase validation and premium entitlement management.
• Apple, used for App Store distribution and In-App Purchase processing.

These providers process information on our behalf or as required to provide their services. We do not allow these providers to use Blub data for third-party advertising.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Children's Privacy

Blub is designed for family use and child-friendly listening. A parent or guardian should set up and manage the app for a child.

We aim to collect the minimum information needed to provide the service. We do not knowingly ask children to provide contact information, precise location, photos, videos, or social account information. If we learn that we collected information from a child in a way that requires parental consent and such consent was not provided, we will delete or de-identify that information where required.

Parents or guardians may contact us at info@flukerapp.com to request access, correction, or deletion of information associated with their child profile.

Data Retention

We keep information only as long as needed to provide Blub, maintain purchase entitlement, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the app. Crash and diagnostic data is kept only as long as needed for reliability and security purposes.

You may request deletion of app-related data by contacting info@flukerapp.com.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection regarding your personal information. To make a request, contact info@flukerapp.com.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account subscription settings. You can also use the in-app restore purchase option to restore premium access.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect Blub data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and alteration.

International Processing

Blub and its service providers may process information in countries other than your country of residence. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the app or through other reasonable means.

Summary

Blub uses limited data to provide child-friendly educational audio, save preferences, verify purchases, and keep the app reliable. Blub does not use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
